Before founding Softcore Studio, Nasera Alayon was the founding Art Director at Freck Beauty, where she developed the brand’s complete visual system alongside founder Remi Brixton.
As a day-one creative, Nasera helped define Freck’s bold, clean aesthetic, breaking industry conventions and shaping the visual language that came to define the “indie beauty” era.
Her creative direction built the foundation that carried Freck from startup concept to Sephora shelves worldwide, cementing her reputation for building founder-led brands with cult credibility.
That legacy continues in Softcore’s work: brand worlds that feel new and necessary in the future landscape of beauty.

Freck Beauty Launch Packaging System
Foundational brand packaging design for Freck’s Gen 1 skincare launch. Developed product naming systems, color-coded systems, and structural packaging to reflect Freck’s irreverent voice and bold, clean beauty identity. Featured in The Dieline.
Freck Beauty Packaging Expansion
Defined the next chapter of Freck’s brand world with packaging for its entry into Sephora. This phase marked a shift into complexion and pigment to signal Freck’s evolution from cult skincare into bold color.
